Meet the Beasties

Little monsters. Big personalities. Absolutely no manners.

Ever wondered who leaves crumbs in your slippers, steals your socks or makes the biscuit tin smell faintly suspicious? Meet the Beasties — a wonderfully peculiar bunch of monsters with revolting habits and very little intention of improving them.

Created by artist Chris Berry, each Beasty has a name, a home and a story that probably shouldn’t be discussed over breakfast. They come from all over the world, making themselves comfortable in the places children forget to check: under beds, inside laundry baskets, tucked into wellies and amongst the biscuits.

There’s Jennifer, the one-eyed pink Beasty from Belgium who eats strawberry yoghurt with a stolen shoehorn. Fangarr, the shaggy blue resident of Icelandic wellies, sucks worms through his fangs like spaghetti. And Ro-Ro lives under boys’ beds, rolling hair trimmings into little sausages before complaining that breakfast needs more conditioner.

Delightful company. Provided you don’t invite them round.

A little strange. A lot to love.

Behind the fangs, horns and questionable table manners, every Beasty has a personality of their own. These colourful characters celebrate the joy of being different, the pleasure of a ridiculous story and the sort of imagination that turns an ordinary sock into somebody’s dining room.

Explore the Beasties through art, calendars, stickers and colouring adventures. Find your favourite, discover their disgusting little secrets and welcome a bit of beautifully illustrated nonsense into your home.
